APPARATUS FOR CARBONIZATION TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for carbonization treatment, capable of suppressing the occurrence of heat deformation or the like of a treating housing and a heating housing. SOLUTION: The apparatus for the carbonization treatment has the treating housing 4 providing a treating chamber 15 in which a treating material to be subjected to the carbonization treatment is stored, the heating housing 6 providing a heating chamber 22 for heating the treating chamber 15, and a heating combustion gas-feeding means 8 for feeding the heating combustion gas to the heating chamber 22. The treating housing 4 has a pair of treating end walls 10 and 12, and a treating periphery sidewall 14 installed between the pair of the treating walls 10 and 12, and the heating housing 6 has a pair of heating end walls 16 and 18, and a heating periphery sidewall 20 installed between the pair of the heating end walls 16 and 18. The pair of the heating end walls 16 and 18 are arranged at intervals to the pair of the treating end walls 10 and 12, and the heating periphery sidewall 20 of the heating housing 6 can be expanded by heat substantially regardless of the treating periphery sidewall 14 of the treating housing 4.
