Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring device for a workpiece having a hole at a location eccentric from an axial center, wherein a hole machining technique is improved in machining precision. SOLUTION: A first eccentric cylinder 21 is usually tied to a machine tool base 11 by an anchor means 60 such that the first eccentric cylinder 21 does not run idle. In the present invention, a cylindrical universal joint for enclosing a universal shaft coupling 46 is employed as the anchor means 60. Thus by employing the cylindrical universal joint as the anchor means, the first eccentric cylinder is evenly supported and vibration of a tool is suppressed, thereby drastically improving the circularity of the hole.
