Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exciter (stator) having split yoke and teeth in which flux (B) can be increased by reducing magnetic resistance and iron loss, and to provide a rotary electric machine employing it. SOLUTION: The exciter generating a moving field upon conduction of a current has a yoke and teeth wherein electromagnetic steel plates constituting the yoke and the teeth are laminated in different directions.
