Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the characteristic of a radio wave absorber which can measure it easily on an online basis and has an excellent repetitive measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: In the method for evaluating a characteristic of a radio wave absorber, S parameters when the radio wave absorber is mounted on a transmission line having a network analyzer connected at its both ends thereto and when the absorber is not mounted are measured by the network analyzer, and an attenuation characteristic for the radio wave absorber is calculated with the use of the measured S parameters.
