OPTICAL PICKUP AND OPTICAL DISK UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup advantageous for reduction of a cost and miniaturization and an optical disk unit. SOLUTION: Both side parts in a tracking direction of a lens holder 2 of the optical pickup 104 and both side parts in a tracking direction of a support block 3 are respectively connected by four suspension wires 80. The connection points of the two suspension wires 802 lined up at opposite ends in a focus direction to the support block 3 are disposed on a single imaginary line parallel to the focus direction and the connection points of the remaining two suspension wires 804 and 806 to the supporting block 3 are disposed at the points displaced in the direction parallel the tracking direction from the imaginary line.
