Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material which has a superior low-temperature shrinkability, low-temperature sealability, and impact resistance. SOLUTION: The packaging material is a woven or knitted packaging cloth which at least includes, as part of its warps and wefts, a string-like stretch material that is made of a polyolefin compound containing a linear low-density polyethylene of 10 to 90 mass% produced by using a metallocene catalyst, which polyethylene has a density of 0.905 to 0.945 g/cm3and shows a melt flow rate of 0.1 to 3 g/10 min, and a random polypropylene of 90 to 10 mass% which contains an ethylene of 2 to 12 mass% and shows a melt flow rate of 10 g/10 min or less.
