MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a superconducting wire capable of obtaining a superconducting wire with high and uniform performance. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the superconducting wire comprises a drawing process (step S3) drawing a wire material 1a in a form of covering a superconducting raw powder material 2a by a metal; a primary rolling process (step S8) rolling a multi-cored wire 1c after the drawing process (step S3); and a primary sintering process (step S10) sintering the multi-cored wire 1c after the primary rolling process (step S8). Further, a retaining process (step S4, step S7, step S9) retaining a clad wire 1b, the multi-cored wire 1c, or a multi-cored wire 1 under an atmosphere of reduced pressure is interposed between the drawing process (step S3) and the primary rolling process (step S8), or between the primary rolling process (step S8) and the primary sintering process (step S10).
