Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car navigation system, in which the user does not perceive sense of incongruity by performing intelligible 3D (three-dimensional) graphic display in or out of a tunnel. SOLUTION: The car navigation system comprises measuring of the a current position of an own vehicle, preparing 3D map information in the vicinity of the current position of the own vehicle by using map information stored to a map information storing means, and performing 3D graphic display. When the current position of own vehicle is in the tunnel and when it is out of the tunnel, a visual point position is changed in the 3D graphic display, and a visual point position 92 in running inside the tunnel is lower than a visual point position 91 at running outside of the tunnel.
