SLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sling capable of improving operability and safety by saving labor and coping with the swing and inclination of ships. SOLUTION: This sling 10 is carried by a crane, lifts a substantially horizontally disposed carried plate material 12 through a clearance at its bottom part, and lifting up and down the plate material. The sling comprises a horizontal member 14 having lifting fittings 13a to 13d at its upper part, leg parts 15a to 15d horizontally installed on the horizontal member 14, in pairs, in the longitudinal direction and disposed so that their widths can be adjusted in the lateral direction, plate end detection means 16a to 16d installed on the leg parts 15a to 15d and keeping constant distances between the carried plate material 12 and the leg parts 15a to 15d, claw parts 17a to 17d installed on the leg parts 15a to 15d, projectable or rotatable to the inside, and capable of supporting the carried plate material 12, and floor landing means 19a and 19b installed on the horizontal member 14 and lifting up and down to place placed members 18a and 18b on the carried plate material 12.
