Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepped hole-forming drill capable of forming the inner surface of a stepped hole as a smooth surface of high accuracy in grinding a brittle material to form the stepped hole. SOLUTION: In a diamond drill 1 having an axial center through-hole 6, the tip of a shank 3 is provided with a diamond grinding wheel part 2 comprising a side face grinding wheel part 2a, a front face grinding wheel part 2b, and a projecting grinding wheel part 4 protrusively provided at the tip of the front face grinding wheel part 2b, and at least the front face grinding wheel part 2b is provided with outflow parts 7 communicating with the axial center through-hole 6 to allow a fluid supplied to the axial center through-hole 6 to flow out.
