Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polyelectrolyte membrane which can be manufactured at a comparatively low cost, and which has a high proton conductivity in wide ranges of temperature and humidity, and has superior solvent resistance and water resistance, and provide its use. SOLUTION: The solid polyelectrolyte membrane, in which (1) (a) phosphate group containing unsaturated monomer having at least one or more phosphate group and ethylenic unsaturated bond in the molecule respectively, and (b) butadiene oligomer and isoprene oligomer having at least two of ethylenic unsaturated linkages in the molecule respectively, and at least one kind of conjugated diene based liquid oligomer selected from a group consisting of their derivatives are copolymerized, or in which (2) (c) a solid polyelectrolyte membrane is obtained by mixing a polymer of the phosphate group containing unsaturated monomer and (d) the conjugated diene based liquid oligomer, has the high proton conductivity in the wide ranges of temperature and humidity, and has the superior solvent resistance and water resistance.
