GREASE FILTER FOR HOOD OF EXTRACTOR FOR HOME USE IN WHICH FLOW IS CONTROLLED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-load loss and low-noise labyrinth filter which has also high efficiency of holding suspended dust. SOLUTION: This filter is provided with at least two walls 2 and 3 facing each other, each with first passage holes 4 which are formed so as to rapidly change the direction of the flow of smoke. At least one of the walls 2 and 3 has two or more second passage holes 5 having a considerably smaller cross section of flow than that of the first passage holes 4. The first passage holes 4 and the second passage holes 5 divide the total flow passing through the filter into two ingredient flows which are divided by turns into two or more first macroscopic flows 6 passing through the first passage holes 4 on a labyrinth route, and two or more second microscopic flows 7 passing through the second passage holes 5.
