VIDEO MONITORING APPARATUS HAVING AUTOMATIC TRACKING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new video monitoring apparatus by combining a video monitoring apparatus and a signal processing system comprised of a chaos neural net. SOLUTION: A video monitoring apparatus having an automatic tracking function is comprised of: a signal processing system comprised of one or more sensors each for simulating the perceptual ability of a living thing, a feature extraction filter for performing pre-processing by making the outputs of the sensors as inputs and the chaos neural net to which a chaos neuron as a means for processing the output of the filter is coupled; a universal head comprised of a driving system controlled by a signal output from the signal processing system; and an imaging means mounted on the universal head.
