Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerating tube capable of surely and stably accelerating charged particles to a predetermined velocity without causing disturbance in the charged particles such as an electron flow. SOLUTION: This accelerating tube is provided with: annular metal members 4 coaxially attached to both end faces of an accelerating tube body 3; and annular flanges 5 coaxially welded to outer principal surfaces of the annular metal members 4. In each annular metal member 4, its inner peripheral side is formed into a cylindrical part 4a projected outward in the axial direction; its outer peripheral side is formed into a flange part 4b; a curved part 4c bent so as to project toward the accelerating tube body 3 is formed throughout the circumference on the outer peripheral side relative to a part mounted to the accelerating tube body 3 of the flange part 4b; a tip of the cylindrical part 4a of the annular metal member 4 is fitted and welded to an opening 5b of the flange 5; and the outer principal surface of the flange part 4b of the annular metal member 4 is welded to a projecting part 5a of the flange 5. Stress can be absorbed by deformation of the curved part 4c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
