Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood fan for trapping and removing oily fats and oils contained in waste gas without dropping them down. SOLUTION: A narrow suction port 6 is formed in a portion near parallel two, three or four edges of a cover plate 4 set deeper for covering a lower opening portion of a hood body 1. The waste gas G flowing from the suction port 6 at an increasing flow speed is sufficiently brought into contact with an annular waste gas colliding means B endlessly and continuously provided right behind the suction port 6. After its direction is changed, the oily components thereof are deposited on the annular waste gas colliding means B with centrifugal action caused by the suction force of an exhaust device 2. The fats and oils deposited on the annular waste gas colliding means B are dropped from a free end 37 crossing the suction port 6 and facing a waste gas impinging face 5 onto the reverse face of the waste gas impinging face 5 and collected by an oil receiving part 18 using the inclination of the waste gas impinging face 5.
