Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an air guide cover covering an upper side of a power generater mounted on an engine, improve air guide conditions around the power generator, efficiently supply cooling air to the perimeter of the power generator, and improve a cooling effect on the power generator. SOLUTION: This outboard engine 1 is equipped with an approximately vertically placed crankshaft 29, the power generator 40 driven by transmitting power of the crankshaft 29 through belt pulleys 35, 36, 43, the air guide cover 70 covering the upper side of the power generator 40, and an opening part 80 in the portion of the air guide cover 70 in the upper side of the power generator 40.
