HAIR TREATING AGENT FOR PERMANENT WAVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a second permanent wave liquid which comprises hydrogen peroxide and satisfies the following requirements: (1) To impart almost the same wave elasticity as the sodium bromate-containing second liquid to hair; (2) To hardly cause hair damages; and (3) To retain other advantages of the hydrogen peroxide-containing second liquid (operation time of within 5 min, no permanent wave odors after permanent wave operations, good retention of waves and the like) as they are. SOLUTION: When the second liquid comprising hydrogen peroxide is applied to hair treated with a first permanent wave liquid, polyvinyl pyrrolidone is applied to hair. Concretely, the second permanent wave liquid containing hydrogen peroxide and polyvinyl pyrrolidone or a preset of a second permanent wave liquid comprising a hydrogen peroxide-containing agent (A) and a polyvinyl pyrrolidone-containing agent (B) is employed.
