Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a method and a material for implantable devices (markers) for permanently marking the location of a biopsy or surgery for the purpose of identification. SOLUTION: The disclosed devices are remotely delivered, preferably percutaneously. Visualization of the markers is readily accomplished using the various state of the art imaging systems. The preferred visualization is through MRI, X-ray and ultrasound.
