Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amalgam pellet for a fluorescent lamp which enables oxidation at room temperature and evaporation of mercury to be suppressed to the minimum in manufacturing the fluorescent lamp, and which without damaging the fluorescent material coated inside, can be used even in a straight tube type fluorescent lamp and a circular fluorescent lamp requiring 4 mg to 5 mg of the mercury amount, and provide the fluorescent lamp using it. SOLUTION: This is the amalgam for the fluorescent lamp composed of tin, zinc, and mercury, preferably the amalgam pellet for the fluorescent lamp in which tin:zinc:mercury is tin 25 to 50:zinc 5 to 30:mercury 20 to 45 (in a mass ratio), and the fluorescent lamp using it.
