Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and method to correct the gain of the control system of a disk motor according to the revolution changes for the purpose of solving the problem that the gain of the control system fluctuates according to the revolutions of the disk in the motor control system of an optical disk drive. SOLUTION: The gain of the disk motor control system is corrected according to the disk revolutions by detecting the actual revolution of the disk motor 101 and calculating the revolution ratio by dividing the reference revolution by the actual revolution. Accordingly, the gain fluctuation due to the disk motor revolution changes can be corrected regardless of the position of the pickup.
