IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment which reduces stress on a user without troubling the user. SOLUTION: An operating system (OS) executes a thread type classification module 121 and a scheduling module 122 in the background of the execution of a thread requested by a process (application). The module 121 sends the thread accompanied by a prepared thread type of the thread to the module 122. The module 121 classifies in advance the thread type of each thread in the process according to the bias of system call types called in unit time. The module 122 decides the priority of the thread from the module 121 according to the thread type to schedule it. Specific threads in the process for user interaction can be classified as a GUI control type and prioritized higher. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
