ENDLESS BELT AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt used for a belt type fixing device in which degradation in image quality, such as a recess or streak, caused by belt deformation that can occur in a belt fixing system, is prevented and, thereby, image quality having high glossiness and high mapping property is ensured. SOLUTION: The endless belt is used for the belt type fixing device. The belt type fixing device includes: the endless belt 1 stretched by at least two shafts, a heat roller 2 and a cooling roller 4, driven and rotated; and a pressure roller 5 for applying pressure and heat from the external circumference of the endless belt surrounding the heat roller. The belt type fixing device forms a glossy image by fixing a toner fixing image. In the endless belt, its base material is made of stainless steel, and its surface has a ten-point average roughness Rz of 0.2 μm or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
