Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water heater, installable at the corner of an installation site in a compact fashion without forming a dead space, easy of maintenance in a small space, and applicable to a site where the electric water heater is not conventionally usable with city water having low water pressure of or hot water to be supplied to a third floor. SOLUTION: A hot water storage tank T is formed in a rectangular solid shape. A cistern tank ST is arranged above the hot water storage tank T. Accessories of the electric water heater, including a hot water supply pressure pump 10 and various types of valve mechanisms, as well as a bath circulation pump 24 and a bath reheating heat exchanger 27 for reheating hot water in a bath are arranged on one side face side of the hot water tank T and the cistern tank ST and covered with a rectangular solid casing K as a whole.
