Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress noise emitted from a transmission case of a power unit by using a simple construction, in the power unit being configured so that its transmission case forming a storage chamber to store a transmission is installed continuously in such a way as covering part of the engine body from the side and also extending toward the driving wheels, and that a soundproof cover to cover the outer side faces of the transmission case is installed on the transmission case. SOLUTION: Soundproofing material members 137-140 to partition the space between the transmission case 71 and the soundproof cover 129 into a plurality of spaces including at least one closed spaces 134-136 are installed between the transmission case 71 and the soundproof cover 129.
