Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin camera module to be mounted on a cellular phone or the like and freely tiltably controlling the direction of the camera. SOLUTION: The camera module consists of: an image pickup element 11; a first case 10 in which a lens 12 provided on the position opposing this image pickup element 11 is provided in the inside; a second case 20 having a hollow portion; and a wiring substrate 30 on which a wiring pattern is formed. The first case 10 is tiltably held in the inside of the hollow portion of the second case 20, and the second case 20 has a tilting control means 27 for tiltably controlling the first case 10.
