Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exposure device for exposing a photoreceptor by using a surface light emitting element array, in which out-of-focus of an exposed image is prevented by securing the high positional accuracy of the light emitting element array. SOLUTION: The exposure device is equipped with the light emitting element array 6 constituted by two-dimensionally juxtaposing a plurality of light emitting elements 10 in a main scanning direction and a subscanning direction on a flat base plate 11, a subscanning means 4 relatively moving the photoreceptor 3 exposed with light 2 emitted by the light emitting element 10 and the light emitting element array 6, and an imaging lens 14 forming an image with the light emitted by the light emitting element 10 on the photoreceptor 3, wherein a base plate holding component 22 having a reference surface 22a nearly perpendicular to the optical axis of the imaging lens 14 and having high flatness is integrated with the imaging lens 14, and the light emitting element array 6 is held integrally with the base plate holding component 22 in a state where a part of the base plate 11 is pressed against the reference surface 22a.
