Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping structure capable of preventing the occurrence of a crack in slabs around a boundary beam damper when an earthquake occurs and, at the same time, sufficiently displaying a damping performance of the boundary beam damper. SOLUTION: In the damping structure equipped with the boundary beam damper 4 having a vibration control damper 6 built between adjoining vertical skeletons and concrete encased column base sections 7 covering the end sections of the vibration control damper 6 by being respectively formed so as to oppose them to side sections of the adjoining vertical skeletons 3 and 5 each other, a first slit material 17 is made to intervene between the concrete encased column base section 7 and the concrete-made slabs 12 and 15 formed around the concrete encased column base section 7.
