Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling type sleeper determination apparatus, automatically and efficiently determining deterioration of a sleeper and managing the sleeper with high reliability by traveling on a railway track rail with regulated lateral force continuously applied to the rail, and calculating the displacement of gauge of track while securing the safety in measurement in a data processing part to thereby determine the magnitude of support force of the sleeper to the rail. SOLUTION: In this traveling type sleeper determination apparatus, lateral pressure is continuously applied in the direction of gauge of track in the rail while traveling to measure the displacement of the gauge of track at that time. In a lateral force loading part, lateral force loading rollers 31, 31' are used in a rail contact part of a cylindrical pipe 33 constituting the principal part thereof. A wheel-off preventing device is provided on a movable side lateral force loading part guide part 35' of the lateral force loading part. In the derailing preventing device, the turning force is applied to the cylindrical pipe 33 around a fixed side lateral force loading part guide part, thereby tilting the rotating shafts of the lateral force loading rollers 31, 31' downward with respect to the advancing direction of a traveling truck 1 in a vertical plane.
