Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition containing a polyphenylene ether and a polyester resin and having good compatibility and excellent mechanical strengths and appearance. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition is produced by compounding (C) 100 pts. wt. of a resin composition composed of (A) 10-60 wt.% polyphenylene ether having ≥0.3 mol of the terminal group of formula (1) based on 100 mol of the phenylene ether units, an intrinsic viscosity of 0.3-0.6 dl/g and a copper content of ≤0.2 ppm and (B) 40-90 wt.% thermoplastic polyester resin with (D) 0.1-10 pts. wt. of a solubilizing agent and (E) 1-30 pts. wt. of an impact strength modifier.
