Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap liner which has pressure resistance and sealability so superior as to prevent a liquid leak or the like when the cap liner is subjected to impact in a vending machine or during transportation. SOLUTION: The cap liner is made using a foam of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. It is desirable that the foam of the saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer have a specific gravity of 0.2-0.7, contain a boron compound of 0.001-1 pts.wt. in comparison to the saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer of 100 pts.wt. in terms of boron, have an average cell diameter of 50-1,000 μm, and be made by expanding 5-80 times and then compression molding the saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
