CORD TIGHTENING/FIXING DEVICE FOR FIXATION OF LOADED OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the cost, reduce the weight and improve so that handling can be made easily by simplifying the structure while the merit as able to tighten a loaded object such as a wheelchair firmly and engage it and fix certainly is left as it is. SOLUTION: A cord tightening/fixing device A for fixation of the loaded object is to tighten and engage a fixing belt 2 for fixing the wheelchair to a vehicle floor 1 and composed of an operating force increasing mechanism (a) to increase the manual operating force, a tightening mechanism (b) to tighten the fixing belt 2 by the operating force increased by the increasing mechanism (a), and a maintaining mechanism (c) to maintain the fixing belt 2 tightened by the tightening mechanism (b) in the tightened condition, wherein the tightening mechanism (b) is arranged so that the movement of the fixing belt 2 in the tightening direction relative to the tightening mechanism (b) is admitted so as to tighten previously the main belt 5 manually while the tightening mechanism (b) is in the condition out of tightening operation.
