Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection mechanism capable of detecting exactly without any mistake the existence of highly-transparent nozzle dots for checking formed in the checking media and the position of the nozzle dots for checking the former. SOLUTION: A translucent media or a light-diffusion generating media 122, which is formed with the formation of a translucent ink-receiving layer 128 having many dispersed bubble cells 126 on the surface of a substrate 124 with a high light-transmission factor, is used for the checking media. Transparent or translucent ink droplets are made intrude into many bubble cells 126 which are dispersed in the ink-receiving layer portion 128 of the ink-dots formation area 200 of the ink-dots for checking the translucent media or the light-diffusion generating media 122, and the transparency of the ink-dots forming area 200 is made remarkably increased in comparing to the one of the surrounding translucent media or light-diffusion generating media portion 220.
