Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding method for repairing a compressor rear frame (CRF) of a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: The method includes a step of forming an annular face (130) on a casing wall (12) by removing a seal flange (18) from an inner casing wall (12) of the frame (10) and a step of manufacturing an exchange flange (118) so as to have an an annular face (132) having a radial direction width greater than the radial direction width of the annular face (130) of the casing wall (12). The respective surfaces of the flange and the wall are coupled, a joint section (122) is formed, a penetration reinforcement flux (128) is deposited adjacently to the joint section (122) and a root weldment (124) extending completely through the joint section is formed by carrying out one-pass gas tungsten arc welding work. Then, the flux is removed and a filler metal is deposited on the root weldment by carrying out the gas tungsten arc welding work to form a second weldment (126). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
