RELEASING METHOD OF SUPERPLASTICALLY FORMED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity of a superplastically formed product free from deformation and thermal strain when the formed product is released from superplastic forming dies. SOLUTION: In the releasing method of the superplastically formed product, a blank 64 is clamped in the superplastic forming dies 23 comprising a forming die 28 having a forming face 33 and a blow die 32 having a fluid blowing port 61, the blank is superplastically formed in the forming dies through the pressure of a fluid blown in from the blow die, and then the superplastic forming dies are opened to discharge a formed product 11. The process of discharging the formed product includes a process of releasing the formed product from the forming dies by holding the circumferential part 13 of the formed product with a blank holder 31 which is installed around the forming dies 28 independently thereof and by moving the formed product in this state in the die opening direction as shown by the arrow d.
