DRY METHANE FERMENTATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with or lessen the conventional waste water treatment in order to discharge a spent methane bacterium aqueous solution to the outside by reusing the ammonia-removed methane bacterium aqueous solution for methane fermentation. SOLUTION: This dry methane fermentation method comprises the steps of: fermenting organic waste 1 in a tank 2 under an anaerobic condition to produce/recover methane; withdrawing the methane bacterium aqueous solution separated from the organic waste 1 by solid-liquid separation to the outside of the tank 2; and removing ammonia from a part of the withdrawn methane bacterium aqueous solution in an electrolyzation tank 3 etc. The ammonia-removed methane bacterium aqueous solution is reused, for example, for the methane fermentation under the anaerobic condition together with a part of the withdrawn methane bacterium aqueous solution.
