Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure which suppresses an element deformation when the inner pressure of the case of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor rises and a pressure valve is operated, and can certainly preclude a short between an anode and a cathode. SOLUTION: In the aluminum electrolytic capacitor, an electrolyte is immersed into a capacitor element obtained by winding an anode foil and a cathode foil via a separator, and the capacitor is housed in a bottomed case which has the pressure valve. A bar-shaped or plate-shaped element supporter resides between the capacitor element and a bottom face of the case, and the element supporter is composed of either one of aluminum, polyphenylene sulfide resin and polyimide resin. The bar-shaped element supporter is formed as a round bar, or to be bar-shaped with the center being wider, and the plate-shaped element supporter is disc-shaped. An air hole is formed in concentric circle shape, spiral shape, or polygonal shape ranging from the center of the element supporter to an outer periphery thereof, and the air hole is formed at the center thereof or a cloud-shaped plate is formed to form a space between the case and the capacitor element.
