MUSIC SELECTION METHOD IN KARAOKE MUSIC INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music selection method in a karaoke music information providing system which improves convenience to users by setting key information, tempo information, guide melody information and guide vocal information automatically to conditions which a user utilized before. SOLUTION: When the user adjusts the key of a karaoke device 2, a portable telephone 1 reads out key information from the karaoke device 2 and the karaoke device 2 transmits the key information to the portable telephone 1 and the portable telephone 1 stores the key information also in addition to a manufacturing company and a model number corresponding to a musical piece ID, and when the user specifies a musical piece name into the portable telephone 1, the portable telephone 1 extracts the musical piece ID and also extracts the stored key information and transmits the musical piece ID and the key information to the karaoke device 2.
