BICYCLE SIMULATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate a backward moving operation of a bicycle in a state wherein a rider rides on the bicycle. SOLUTION: A dummy bicycle 12 has a steering angle sensor 50 which detects the steering angle of a handlebar 28, a momentary type backward-movement switch 140 provided behind and below a saddle 24, and a monitor 14 which displays a scenery based upon a simulated traveling speed, the steering angle, and the signal of the backward-movement switch 140. When the backward-movement switch 140 is operated, an image of the bicycle and a person who moves the bicycle back is displayed on a monitor 14. The backward movement switch 140 is operated through a lever so that the rider who gets off the bicycle can easily operate the backward movement switch by hand. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
