Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecular biological method for detecting human hepatitis/hepatocirrhosis and hepatoma. SOLUTION: The method for detecting the hepatitis/hepatocirrhosis and hepatoma includes measuring a level of at least one of mRNA selected from the group consisting of SLC7A2 (CAT2, solution carrier family) and galectin 1 with respect to a liver tissue obtained from an examinee. Thus, diagnosis of the hepatitis/hepatocirrhosis and hepatoma based on a molecular biological procedure and diagnosis of malignancy thereof are carried out. Further, the diagnosis is objectively given with high accuracy, by avoiding an error caused by proficiency and subjective judgement of a physician giving the diagnosis, because the diagnosis is given based on the molecular biological procedure.
