CELLULAR PHONE SELECTIVELY CONNECTED TO ONE OF A PLURALITY OF MOBILE TELEPHONE SYSTEMS, ITS CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone for alleviating a trouble in which call termination cannot be received from a currently operating system, when a connection is tried with a mobile telephone system having a priority higher than the currently operating system among a plurality of mobile telephone systems of which the priority is managed. SOLUTION: A system information table 61 maintains a list of systems to which a cellular phone 1 can be connected, along with priorities. A currently operating system register 62 records a system connected at the last as a currently operating system. A scanning control portion 52 directs a system acquisition control portion 51 to acquire a higher system with a higher priority using a scanning pointer register 54 as a work memory, while the scanning control portion 52 awaits the currently operating system. On this occasion, whenever acquisition of a predetermined number of higher systems is failed continuously, an interrupt waiting control portion 53 returns connection to the currently operating system once to control for waiting.
