SURFACE DISCHARGE TYPE PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND SURFACE DISCHARGE TYPE PLASMA DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a blue-color luminescent area has the same level as those of red-color and green-color luminescent areas and the light emitting strength of a blue-color is deteriorated relatively so that the blue-color luminescent area is forced to display at a low color temperature. SOLUTION: Of three primary color phosphors (38) formed in unit luminescent areas (EU) constituting a pixel (EG), the width of a blue phosphor (38 B) is about twice widths of red and green phosphors (38 R, 38 G). This allows a white color temperature of 9,300 K without causing the deterioration of the phosphors (38) and degrading red and green gradations. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
