ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT EQUIPPED WITH FOREIGN MATTER INSERTION PREVENTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio video jack of which the foreign matters such as a wire are inserted into the tip from the outside, and in which a defensive wall to prevent the foreign matters from inserting into electric equipment at the backward of the audio video jack and from getting an electric shock. SOLUTION: The audio video jack 10 has a terminal 12, and in its end part, a housing 16 is integrally installed with the terminal 12. In the rear part of the housing 16, the defensive wall 20 is installed, and when the foreign matters such as the wire are inserted from the terminal 12 of the audio video jack, it is intercepted for the foreign matters to be inserted into the electric equipment 1 in backward of the audio video jack. By this, when the electric equipment 1 provided with the audio video jack 10 is in an energized state, because it can be evaded for the foreign matters to be inserted into it, it is superior in safety as a risk of being electrified can be evaded by making the foreign matters contacted with a device having a risk of getting the electric shock.
