SOLUTION: In the lithium secondary battery provided with an anode, non-aqueous electrolyte material and the cathode in which cathode active material layer 3a is formed on the unevenly formed surface of a cathode current collector 3b, the cathode active material layer 3a is composed of a material that is alloyed with lithium, while the thickness (μm) of the cathode active material layer 3a/ten points average coarseness Rz (μm) of the cathode current collector 3b is 0.5 or more and 4 or less, and the tensile strength (N/mm2) of the cathode current collector 3b at 25°C×cathode current collector base thickness (mm)/thickness (μm) of the cathode active material layer 3a is 2 or more.
