Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new separator for a lead-acid storage battery with excellent electrolyte solution permeability without the addition of a penetrant while retaining strong points of a conventional separator for the lead-acid storage battery using polyolefin group resin as a skeleton material without using any organic solvent with various dangerous properties, and provided with oxidation resistance, and a lead storage battery using the above separator. SOLUTION: The separator for the lead storage battery is composed of a micro-porous sheet having a microcapsule made of thermoplastic resin containing oil as a skeleton material.
