Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a sodium-sulfur battery with the small number of man-hour, easy to automate, not taking the cost for manufacture of a cartridge, processing, and gas generating material to be sealed in the cartridge, excellent in cost saving property, capable of precisely and easily adjusting the pressure in an anode chamber and securing a reaction area by surely covering the surface of a solid electrolyte tube with sodium. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the sodium sulfur battery comprises an insulation body 11 jointing process, a fixing part 12 jointing process, a safety tube 5 jointing process, an anode chamber evacuation process evacuating the inside of the anode chamber into a prescribed degree of vacuum, and a sodium injection process injecting sodium 6 as an anode activator heated in a temperature higher than the melting point thereof, in a state of maintaining the anode chamber in the prescribed degree of vacuum.
