INFORMATION PROCESSOR AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an EAS tag used in a conventional anti-theft system is required to be invalidated when purchasing merchandise, and if such invalidation is not appropriately performed, even a purchaser of appropriate merchandise is caught at a gate to hurt a consumer's feelings. SOLUTION: This information processor is constituted to store identification information for identifying merchandise with an RFID tag attached thereto, in a database in relation to discrimination information for discriminating whether the merchandise can be taken out of a store, to retrieve information coinciding with the identification information of the RFID tag read at the gate, from the identification information of the merchandise stored in the database, to determine whether the merchandise can be taken out of the store from the discrimination information related to the coinciding information concerned, and to give an alarm based on the determined result.
