METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING POLARIZATION MAINTAINING OPTICAL FIBER ARRAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional manufacturing method that a polarization maintaining optical fiber array is manufactured manually one by one so as to adjust an angle of the polarization maintaining optical fiber, requiring a long manufacturing time and causing a decline in the yield rate, and provide a method and a device for manufacturing a polarization maintaining optical fiber array capable of manufacturing a polarization maintaining optical fiber array in a short period and providing it at low cost. SOLUTION: The method and the device for manufacturing a polarization maintaining optical fiber array use a polarization maintaining optical fiber ribbon, a position adjustment part, a V-shaped groove for reference, a V-shaped groove for arrangement, and an observation part.
