ACCURATE CUTTING CUTTER OF OUTER PERIPHERAL BLADE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate cutting cutter of an outer peripheral blade capable of excellently maintaining cutting performance by reducing cutting resistance and promoting discharge of cutting chips also when performing a cutting work by enhancing machining efficiency like a high speed feed, in the cutting cutter to be used for the cutting requiring high level accuracy like the cutting of an electronic material. SOLUTION: In a surface 3a on an outer peripheral end side of a substrate of an abrasive material layer 3, a bond tail 6 of a normal size is formed in the vicinity of a boundary region of abrasive grain 2 and a bond material 5. In a surface 3b on a substrate side surface side, the length of the bond tail 6 is made ≤1.5 times as long as an average particle diameter of the abrasive grain 2. As a result, the flows of cutting chips and grinding liquid are not hindered by the bond tail 6, a discharge effect of the cutting chips is enhanced, the grinding liquid can be effectively injected.
