Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual optimal design method of inertia characteristics of a club for every golfer using a statistical method. SOLUTION: This individual optimal design method of the golf club inertia characteristics is provided with a step of preparing basic clubs having independently and randomly dispersed three elements out of eight types of club inertia characteristic specifications, a step of actually driving balls with the basic clubs, and creating a multiple regression formula using the ball initial speed measured then as a dependent variable and the three elements as independent variables and including a secondary term in the independent variable, a step of calculating a stationary point as a provisional optimal specifications from the multiple regression formula and a step of rationally selecting an improvement degrees of the ball initial speed and a deviance from a high precision using an index based on the stationary point.
