DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CHARACTER IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the operation of a plurality of objects intuitively and without imposing an excessive burden on the users. SOLUTION: The apparatus controls the individual motions of a plurality of character images from an input for indicating the individual motions of the plurality of character images movable on the display screen of the given display device and the second input as such independent of the input. In the apparatus, the distance between the plurality of character images whose motions are controlled by the first input is detected from the display coordinates of the individual character images to limit the further expansion of the distance from the first input between the plurality of character images detected is limited when it is expanded to the first limit value.
